The College of Applied Medical Sciences in Wadi Al-Dawasir, Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University held an event titled by: World Autism Awareness Day Participation Program "Transitioning from Survival to Thriving" on April 17, 2025. The event aims to raise awareness about autism and create a positive perspective towards autism. The Event includes several activities such as video presentation about autism, brochures about autism, awareness raising about misconceptions related to autism. Faculty members and students participated in the event- Dr. Mohmaed Hussein Atta, Assistant professor- Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed Elsheikh, Assistant professor-Student. Mansour Mohamed Eldossary, 5th level- Student. Badr Mesly Eldossary, 5th level. Event evaluation by attendees: They expressed their satisfaction with the event and expressed their desire to repeat similar events that discuss sensitive topics in society.
